Biographie: Deep-Z is driven by techno music since 1992. Previously, he was fascinated by hardcore music, but quickly he changed his mind on the techno sound, mainly inspired by the Detroit sound and the German minimal grooves. Later on (1997) he started to produce his own deep/minimal techno tracks. In year 2002 one of his first successfull composition "Returning" was included in local Latvian label's compilation "Motobase". Afterwards in 2004 followed a release with another Latvian artists. "Selffish" a remix of "Prototype-1" was released on the German netlabel "Thinner". This track was also included in DJ Oblivion's mix, released on the netlabel "Subsource" (Germany).

Around 2003, the local record company "Ingus Bauskenieka ieraksti published the first part of the electronic music compilation CD" electronica @ *. lv. There is the track "Thin Science. In 2004 followed the same label, the compilation "In 13 Inout exhalation" (Remix CD) from the series "Gas of Latvia". Here is his remix of the track "Inout (Leaving The Planet E, Breathing Mix)".

He is currently working on new material for an upcoming album of deep, minimal techno tracks.
